8-31-21: Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) for Canvas and Email

I failed to post the following here after emailing All-Employees on Monday but wanted to share this here still for anyone that missed the email.

 

Crowder Colleagues, 

 

Beginning Tuesday, August 31st, at NOON, Crowder employee email accounts and Canvas accounts will require Multi Factor Authentication (commonly referred to as MFA) to login. This change is necessary to improve Crowder’s cybersecurity and to maintain insurance compliance. 

 

If you have not already setup MFA,  

you will not be able to login to Canvas or Microsoft 365 (web email, OneDrive, Teams, etc.)  

after NOON on Tuesday, August 31

without first setting MFA up. 

 

If you have not already setup MFA on your account, we encourage you to do so now to avoid any unnecessary delays in accessing your accounts. Please review the attached flyer for directions.
