Similar to the weather, technology changes frequently.  While many changes to the software and applications we use have little impact or even go completely unnoticed, two applications that many people across Crowder use daily, Microsoft Outlook and Teams, will be updated over the coming weeks by Microsoft.   

When you do receive the new Teams or Outlook app, you will potentially notice two Outlook and Teams app icons, one for each version. The new apps should be identified by the word “NEW” written on the bottom of the icon. We do not know when individual users at Crowder will receive the updated Outlook or Teams from Microsoft.   

Microsoft is also pushing Copilot, their AI language model virtual assistant, into the Microsoft 365 apps.  You will likely notice Copilot showing up in more locations throughout the Microsoft 365 environment.
