5/8/24: Duo MFA for Student Accounts Beginning Thursday, May 23

Crowder Students,

To improve the security of Crowder accounts and better meet compliance standards, all Crowder accounts will soon require multifactor authentication (MFA) to sign in.

After 4PM on Friday, May 23rd, all students will be required to set up Duo MFA.

After 4 PM, May 23rd, students logging into their Crowder email, Office 365, or Canvas will be prompted to set up Duo MFA.  You cannot set up Duo MFA before this time.

To set up Duo MFA, you will need to download the Duo Mobile app from your Google Play or Apple Store to your phone.

NOTE: If you are unable to download the Duo Mobile app, please visit the Crowder Bookstore in Farber Hall on the Neosho campus to purchase a Duo token that can be used in place of the free app on your phone.  You can also purchase the Duo token from the Crowder Bookstore online at https://crowderbookstore.com/product/duo-token/.

Directions for setting up Duo MFA can be found in the following locations:

Additional changes to logins will occur at Crowder over the coming months as we work to place more services behind Duo MFA to both simplify your login experience and better secure everyone’s data.  Please continue to watch for emails from help@crowder.edu sharing these changes.

As always, please contact HelpDesk at help@crowder.edu, 417.455.5712, or come visit us in person in McDonald Hall room 217 on the Neosho campus during normal business hours if you have any questions or need assistance.
