Psychosocial Nursing 2 Credits
This course utilizes the nursing process to develop a safe plan of care for individuals with problems related to coping and adaptation throughout the life cycle. Emphasis will be on helping the student become more sensitive to human behavior and the therapeutic use of self. Pharmacological aspects of care will be included. (Prerequisite: ADN 200 or successful completion of the first year of the ADN program and PSYC 101 or SOC 101)
