ADN 161
Clinical I 1 Credit
This course introduces the health care setting. The student will complete 48 clinical hours in an approved medical facility. During the course, the student is provided with clinical practice in providing basic nursing care for medical clients. The student is encouraged to utilize the nursing process in planning and implementing nursing care. Legal documentation of care will be emphasized. The student is given opportunity to develop skills in basic nursing procedures. (Co-requisite: ADN 160)
