This college prep course is recommended for students needing to improve their basic skills in the use of whole numbers, fractions, decimals, simple geometry and number theory. Students whose placement scores indicate a need are required to enroll. The course is offered on a credit/no credit basis, with 80% or better required to receive credit. A letter grade will not be given, and there will be no impact on the student's grade point average. This course cannot be applied to the general education mathematics requirement for graduation.
