Description
This course is designed to improve reading skills necessary to succeed in college level courses across disciplines. Emphasis is on critical reading techniques, content-specific vocabulary and efficient comprehension. A variety of readings, assessments, and supplemental exercises are included to enhance the development of the various reading skills. Credit earned in this course does not count toward graduation. A course fee will be applied. (Prerequisite: Grade of 'C' or higher in LOC 50 or appropriate COMPASS scores)
