Credit Hours: 3 (2-2)
Medical Laboratory Techniques is a course that introduces the student to phlebotomy, basic physical assessment, electrocardiography (EKG), and medical and surgical asepsis. The course will be conducted as a combination lecuture/lab class where students are introduced to the concept and then given opportunity to develop the basic skills.
Prerequisites: CNA 101, CNA 102 or Active CNA Certification
