We want to advise you of an update to the login experience for the Canvas website. Canvas is updating the appearance of the login page to ensure compliance with web accessibility standards. The transition to the new login page design will not impact your ability to log into Canvas.

Since most of our users login with Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials, you may not see any visual difference in your login experience.

For users that sign-in using other methods, the new login will look similar to this:

• Canvas Username/Password Authentication
• LDAP

We anticipate activating this new login page Friday, May 22, 2026.
