To maintain a secure and up-to-date computing environment, Information Services will be upgrading the system that stores our shared files this Friday, June 26, starting at 4:30 PM. 

Before you leave Friday: please ensure all files you have open from shared drives (such as the Departmental W: drive) are saved and closed before 4:30 PM. 

When you return to campus:  

• No action for you is required  

• All your shared folders and files will be available as usual, and you should not notice any changes in how you access these files.   

This upgrade affects shared drives you access through File Explorer under “This PC”.  These folders vary by individual and department but include the Departmental W: drive, Instructional, and other network folders.
